Getting around in Century City

From Bridgewater Apartments, it is easy to reach the attractions of the Century City precinct. Day or night, it is safe to walk practically anywhere in this privately managed estate with its extensive network of constantly monitored CCTV cameras. Roads and walking trails are well sign-posted and well-lit, and open up many beautiful views and natural areas. Walking will also give you the opportunity to see the outdoor art works of the Century City Art Trail.

If you’re staying in Century City for a while, it would be a great idea to hire a bicycle for use both within the estate or to get down to the beaches of Milnerton or even into Cape Town along the dedicated cycle lane that runs through Paarden Eiland and Woodstock.

Another way to get around Century City itself is on the MyCiTi busses that run around the ring road of Century City regularly — which is also a very convenient way to get from Century City to the West Coast, the CBD and the V&A Waterfront. You’ll find a MyCiTi bus stop on the Century City Boulevard, less than 250 metres from Bridgewater Apartments.
