DRIVER / PORTER

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Driver / Porter is primarily responsible to welcome guests, assist with guest luggage and providing the relevant transfers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Welcome and greet all guests on arrival and departure
Assist guests with luggage and belongings
Escort guests to their allocated room
Ensure that the Hotel entrance is always clean and welcoming
Transport guests as per transfer requirements
Ensure that the vehicle is clean and neat
Ensure that the drivers log sheet is completed accurately
Comply with all traffic regulations
Advise guests on Hotel facilities and surrounding attractions

REQUIREMENTS:

Min Grade 12
Valid drivers license and PDP license
Min 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills
Exceptional inter-personal skills
